Time to Set Up an SSL Certificate
Your website should ideally have an SSL certificate registered for the domain name that hosts the website. This puts an https:// in front of the website address instead of http://
An SSL (secure sockets layer) certificate is a digital certificate that both authenticates the identity of a website, and encrypts sensitive information so that any passwords, addresses or credit card numbers cannot be intercepted or read by anyone other than the intended recipient. This also shows a completed padlock up the top of the browser rather than an open padlock and the words ‘Not Secure’.
